Ironton wins this one easily. Gonna say 48-14. Ironton finally figures out how to utilize all of those D1 athletes. This is the most talented team Ironton has had in 30 years. At least that is what a good buddy told me. He spoke of secret players, secret plays, spread offense. He sounded really delusional, errrr I mean excited.

CCC or CHCA will win state. Bishop Ready and Johnstown could give Wheelersburg problems in the region. Johnstown and Wheelersburg are basically the exact same team.

as much as i would like to agree. even though cold h20 is gonna we still have to worry about CCC who has been to three straight title games

Just want to see a competitive game. I don't like it when one team is up while the other is down. I want to see both teams at their best and both teams successful. Hell, that goes for all teams in Southeast Ohio. And by Southeast, I don't mean the OHSAA regional map, I mean the teams in geographic SE Ohio. As far as the winner of this game goes, I hope they go through the season undefeated. As far as the loser, I hope they win their remaining games. I'll be cheering for the Tigers though. Always have and always will

The MAC still has two teams Anna and Versailles in DIV V and you can bet you will have to play one of them. I don't think the Burg will make it that far..like last year.

What's the overall record in the series? Should be getting close. Ironton fans don't seem to post it as much as they used to.

I went through joe eitel's site maybe last year tek. and if memory serves me correct ironton still leads the series by maybe 4/5. but I don't rightly remember the exact number. yeah, burg fans don't mention ironton having 2 state titles to their 1 very often either. ---------------------------------------------- all jokin aside it's painfully obvious that the pirates have been riding the fighting tigers roughshod. I sure hope that stops this year. this series will or at least should get back to being excited and very competitive again. hard to even keep a good conversation about this game anymore. because it has been such a blowout lately.
