Yes, Keith is back, and he had 2 very nice goals against St. Joe last week.

Thurmer gives Burg a chance to prevent the goose egg but can't see Burg pulling this out. Waverly 4-1

Waverly is the better team...but as we know winning @Burg is never an easy task. Glad Thurmer is back as Waverly is getting back to 100% as well and should have a healthy Bevens for this game, who missed 1st meeting. Waverly cannot come into this game content with winning the SOC, they must want to keep a clean slate in the league. But with league wrapped up and tourney draw done biggest concern is to stay healthy...the Trophy remains in Waverly regardless of the result.

I hope I don't get verbally/ electronically assaulted for agreeing with you Redcard (since you've managed to make half the people on here hate you...impressive in my book), but I think you're right. Tigers by a 3 goal margin. Thurmer will not be a factor in this game.

The turf actually plays better to waverly than it does Burg. Sorry jelly pirate, burg is overmatched

:aaaaa128 As bad as i don't want to admit it, RC cola is right. Pirates don't stand a chance. A donut does sound good right about now though.

After seeing them both play, I'm gonna have to go with Waverly 5-0. Especially on turf. They're just too fast and skilled for Burg to compete with right now.

Waverly only local team to really be able to organize behind the ball and make a push with offense. Thurber back will help but defense will really need to play well. Speed tough to manage from Waverlys side. Key for pirates will be to get one early and pressure tigers. Have not responded well in the past to being pressured. Should be fun to watch.

RxBF is correct. the Pirates will need to bring the heat right from the start. aslo if they can shut down White and Pupero they might have a fighting chance. Half of waverly's goals this season are from these two. Great players. Goodluck to both teams.

Go Burg!

In my opinion it takes really good players to shut down really good players. So if u shut down white and purpero who does burg have left to score/win. Although you may not be familiar with the reference, this is Checkmate. Burg has no other moves here and no options left. Good luck to both sides but I think we know who the favorite is no matter how you play it.

Teams can have both good defensive players and offensive players. I don't think Burg will put Thurmer on White or Pupero... so burg will still have Thurmer.

Waverly already has the SOC golden ball for the year. I look for them to play a little more relaxed, but at the end of the night still winning maybe a 2-1 game.
