Week 8 : Rock Hill (0-7) at River Valley (1-6)
What are everyone's thoughts? Homecoming for River Valley. Can the Raiders end their 6 game losing streak? Or will the Redmen pick up their first win of the season?
I like the Raiders in this one!

I was looking at this game as one of two winnable games for Rock Hill. Unfortunately, getting drilled by previously winless South Point last week kind of changed my optimism. Best of luck to both teams, but as a Valley fan, I'd like to see Rock Hill pull off a win for the second level points.

Rock Hill won't win a game this year. To many injuries, to much inner turmoil, and to many kids quitting the team. That program is in shambles.

River Valley needs this win. We will see what this staff is all about. I say RV will win by two scores. Could be a statement win for the Raiders moving forward :aaaaa118

I still see this game as a toss up. RV has had very little success in the OVC, only winning a game or two ever. Granted they did complete RH last 0-10 season. I have this strange feeling that RH will find a way. In sports it's almost as difficult to go 0-10 as it is to go 10-0. RH 22 RV 21.

lawcosportsfan.....RV has only won a game or two ever in the OVC?!?!? Heck they won 5 OVC games their first 2 years in the league!! lol....maybe you meant one or two SINCE those first 2 years!
With that being said, I agree with you that this game will be closer then everyone thinks. I still say RV wins, but in a close one!

I would like to think that Harper could possibly will the team to victory, but I just can't pick Rock Hill in this one after what I've seen this year, especially after a long road trip. River Valley will have success throwing the ball and the middle will eventually open up.

I don't care how down your program is, beating an 0-7 team that has been outscored 309-62 (Average appox. 44-9), is never a statement win.Mr.Nubington wrote:River Valley needs this win.
