Thoughts on this battle of heavyweights. Both teams are coming off solid wins in their openers-Waverly 4 Chilli 0, Unioto 6 Gallia 1.
Waverly is 15-2 Unioto 16-1.
The Tigers lost 2-1 earlier in the season at Waverly.

Waverly will be playing with heavy hearts...one week after losing a teacher, Waverly lost a classmate in a car crash and his sister was life flighted. Please pray for the Szoke and Hall families, as well as all the Waverly students and staff . Life has a way of putting sports into perspective. God Bless

Skye is out of surgery and alert. Around 60 people from Waverly were/are at the hospital in West Va. - huge show of support. Much prayer is needed as the Szoke family deals with this tragic loss and Skye heals. Pray for Jake Kretzer as he travels from Akron to the hospital. Not sure where he is along the route.

Prayers to Waverly from Northwest Soccer Community. We will keep you in our thoughts as yet another tragedy has occurred there. I am sure that the Waverly Community will pull together once again as they did last week. Get well soon, Skye.
