I spoke to a member of the cville staff last evening and asked about how Logan dominated them in a scrimmage earlier in the year, he just laughed about it. I'm pretty sure the only people who saw it that way were the people in the stand dressed in purple. It plays no bearing on the topic but it is nice to see Logan people willing to give their "poor" team as much credit as they can.

Athens' QB is ligit along with their RB. Their defense is solid but can be scored on. The problem is can Circleville Score with Athens. I dont think so. Athens scores fast because their QB doesnt make mistakes and can read a defense better than any HS QB should. He runs that read option well and always picks the right reciever. In order for Heath and the boys to win they need to keep Athens' offense off the field with some long scoring drives then hide their Defense well ie: blitz's and coverages. Gonna be a good one. Taking A-Town. Supporting the TVC and the other 3 playoff teams who beat my Vikes this season, Bloom Carroll, Piketon, and Galia Acadamy.

Very difficult to judge teams that I have not seen play...I have seen Circleville twice this year and they do tackle very well, good team speed and good offense when they don't turn over the ball. I have not seen Athens play I just read all the posts on here sounds like they are very good team, be careful not to under estimate your opponent in Circleville because they have lost to some pretty good teams. No disrespect, but the MSL probably is a little more difficult league with the likes of Hamilton Twp., Canal Winchester, Logan Elm, Teays Valley and most of the time Amanda Clearcreek. Good luck to both teams, wish I could be there but I will be following Logan Elm to Dayton this week.

I know the majority of Athens fans and for certain the coaching staff and team are not overlooking Circleville in any way tomorrow night. Circleville has a good football team and if they beat the Bulldogs it will be for reason other than they were overlooked.

Going with Athens in this one. Just hope it doesn't turn into a shootout because that is what happened with Gallipolis and that didn't come out too good for the Bulldogs.

Also happened with Watkins Memorisl and turned out well. I agree though Athens doesn't want a shootout, they just need to play their game and let happen what will happen, if the defense can get some stops early the Bulldogs should be in good shape but if they have trouble with the read option/veer early then all bets are off.
