Who are your relatives named Mecum? Just happens to be my last name, and I am from Glouster.
Ok I had to call my mom to straighten this out
My Grand Mother was named Carmen, she was a Mecum, she Married Buck Kempton and they moved to Dillionvale. (Well Dunglen) really. My Mom's name is JoAnne, she was a Kempton. But I remember going to Clouster for family reunions and we would stay at my Grandma's Brothers house, his name was John Mecum. He had two sons Donald and Chuckie. I was really young but I remember the reunion was always the same time as the Old Settlers Reunion, and the town had a festival of some kind. I bet we are related somehow. Donald and Chuck would be my Mom's 1st cousins.
It was my Great Uncle John and his wifes name was Florence.

Trimble was impressive tonight, I'd bet the defense gave up less than 100 total yards. Trimble has a good but tough matchup next week with Newark Catholic and if the Cats are going to win they will likely need a bit more balance on offense. I'll be there to support the Tomcats again next week, good luck Cats!

It will take a great effort, but its not out of the relm that Trimble beats them. They beat a cloning opponent this year also.

Great job Tomcats. What a great atmosphere for a playoff game. The Tomcat Faithful had a red out and man did it look great.
CC had 64 yards for the entire game. (Stats from Mr. John Conklin)
Trimble started the game off right with a 7 minute drive and on defense they sacked the QB on his 2 first pass attempts and harassed him til the time he left the game. Hope the young man is ok. What a pick six from a freshman in a big playoff game. Terry simerly with a freakish flip into the endzone was just sick. Koons and Smathers ran well. Konner Standley made some great plays with his feet. The offensive and defensive line just controlled the game. Jacob Kish had a big Interception and return back to the 8 yard line. Austin Downs and Wyatt Deak were quiet on offense but had great coverage and great blocks on the outside as the tomcats stuck with the run to control the clock.
The kids went up into the crowd after the game to thank the fans for their support which was great. Glouster memorial was loud. Great win for the kids and the community. The stadium looked great. Thanks to the Volunteers for all the work this summer and to the people who helped this week.
Congrats to Colonel Crawford on a great season and first trip to the playoffs in school history.
Congrats to Trimble Tomcats on the win and get ready to go to work monday and show them your rutter tough.

Oh, the irony of it all is if Wahama draws Magnolia, which I know won't happen. Magnolia would throttle your white falcons, something awful.Titletown TVC wrote:Wow. CC must be really glad they didnt play wahama since we would have stomped them by 80.
Don't act shocked when your lack of endearing yourself to others on here results in little, if any support, from others on this website, as you move to weak 11 in WV. :122245
