2nd and goal.

INTERCEPTION OAKS!!!!!

Down 20-7, Oak Hill comes from behind and the defense holds up on a last ditch effort by the Eagles! What a game!!

I just got the feeling back in my toes from a cold and wet football game. What a game it was!!! Coaches on both sides did a nice job. The young men on both teams did a great job. The officials did a very nice job. Both fan bases were awesome! It was probably the best all around high school football game that I have witnessed in ages. Congratulations to the Oaks and to the Hillsdale Falcons. You both did your schools and communities proud tonight, and kudos to Hillsdale's fans. Even though it was a 3+ hour drive, the visitor's stands were full. Continued success to Hillsdale and hope you all have a safe journey home. Congratulations to the Oaks!! Week 12 here we come....keep enjoying the ride!!

The Oak Hill coaches were out coached big time in the first half! Congrats to both teams on a great game!! Oak hill made adjustments in the second half and just kept fighting! Wow what a game it was the best one I've seen in a very long time. Hills dale played a great game and their fans showed up, be careful on your long trip home you all have nothing to be ashamed of.

I dont think it had anything to do with being out coached. It was more being the case of trying to stop a well executed inside veer play and the tough running of Hillsdales backs. Many times the tailback and the fullback were hit at the line and because of the caliber of backs they were they gained yardage. After not being in school on Tuesday and the crappy weather I would say it was difficult to get the reps needed to defend inside veer as good as their quarterback ran it. He ran it well. Their inside linebackers were good and it was difficult to run the ball until the Oak Hill staff used a formation that created a bubble in their defense. FROM WHAT I SAW THIS WAS DONE IN THE FIRST HALF. They also had better overall team speed and this was evident when they were on defense. . Also I dont think the Oak Hill staff made the play calling mistakes the other side did.

Where are all of the oaks fans? I figured there would be a ton of posts on here after this one. For me it was definitely the best game I've seen. I'm very proud of the oaks because everyone thought it was over at halftime and then again when hillsdale got it down to the 2 yard line late in the game but the Oaks showed a lot of mental toughness and never gave up! Congrats to all the players and coaches on a tremendous effort!!

Congrats to the Oaks!
It was a long drive but it was well worth it. Best game I have seen this year and maybe a couple.
Both teams played a tough game and you came out on top. Good Luck in week 12.

Very classy post Go Falcons 1. Hillsdale has a very good team. Their three regular season losses were all to playoff teams and two of them are still playing in round 2. There were a lot of Hillsdale fans that made the long trip. Good luck next year.
