Kevin Meade and Dale was on Coach Perry staff back in the late 80's and I think Meade was on Dale's staff the 1st year

Meade was definitely on staff for Amyx, not sure if it was for 1 or 2 years. Left to go coach Nelsonville-York and had Amyx's number for a few years.

Kevin Meade had some great offensive teams at NY. But a lot of times, NY won 50-40 type games. Meade & Amyx (defense guy) together might make a good combination.

You might want to relook at the scores of the 94 season and the 97 season... both had great defenses one coordinated by McLaughlin and one coordinated by Watkins

Interviews will start Thursday and according to the LDN they hope to hire a coach by the end of the month.Like someone said b-4 the new coach must instill a warrior mentality in the system an demand discipline in his program!

Interesting points;
1) they want the coach to reside in the community
2) they want the coach to teach at the high school to be close to the student body
3) they are not creating a new teaching position to facilitate this so the coach will take an anticipated opening due to retirements
4) Dale will be one of six to interview candidates

Also, in light of what is going on in Stuebenville, he needs to stress citizenship. His players should be role models in school and communtiy.

this is a big point! keep the players on the straight and narrow. set the law early and dont wavier on it. breed it in the system on through the under classes. i know when my son was littler he idiolized (and still does) some of the former logan players.
