Varsity played Miller once in the early 80s.

noreply is probably right about Logan's JVs playing Miller's Varsity in the 60s though, happened all the time.

LDN ran a story on LHS Football and included the note about Meigs in 2014-15.

Only 4 home games in 2014, but Lancaster and N-Y are two of them, so they'll make the normal profit at the gate. Meigs will be away in '14 and home in '15.

I remember our reserves playing Miller at one time.

Reserves didnt play that much that nite. Miller gave Logan all they wanted. I would have like to see the out come if the Ray Jenks didnt get hurt on the second or thrid play of the game (broken ankle) Miller played with a thrid team QB that nite.
And the big back Logan didnt have an answer he was a two way player yea he did run out of gas but that fisrt two possesions
no one wanted a piece of him.

As I remember this game occurred in the early 80's and it was over by halftime! Hey panthers2013 close only counts in horseshoes and granades

Must of been a big win for logan that year Miller wasnt in the TVC yet, let Logan go out and schedule 8 games with schools bigger than they are that year Miller had Cadiz undefeated un scored on Nelsonville, Logan, Jackson, over by halftim?? you bumped your head Miller had 1st down inside the 5 and hear come the flags or Miller would of had the lead. score 27 - 0 Logan not bad for a small school they knew Miller came to play

Went to the 7 on 7 tonight for Logan against Berne Union and Circleville. Logan had two teams Purple and a White team.Between the two I had them scoring 15 TDs and giving up 5. The white D gave up 1 TD and the Purple 4. Purple score 10TD and the White 5.

Will have Logan stats later


Between the Purple and White they had 9 series of downs. Logan had 97 plays and completed 58 passes. 6 of the 97 plays were run by the QB. 58/91- 784 yards 4INTs-15TDs.Logan also dropped 3 balls that would have been TDs.

Looked like 42 players out there tonight without the lineman.

Logan did have more stats then this because the first time the Purple had the ball i was watching the white defense and the Purple scored twice against the Berne Union Defense making 17 TDs. Two of their TDs came from staring at the 40 yard line.

7on7 from my experience are always heavy on offence and it sounds like the young men are beginning to pick up coach Burke system. Lets control our emotion until reality sets in when we go to Lancaster for the first real game! The Jamboree game also will tells us more! Sounds like a good baby steps! LOGAN FOOTBALL 2013 FORWARD!

Got a call from LHS 72 last night, He is finishing up his studies for his Doctorate and was taking a summer football class offered by South Carolina Gamecocks Staff!

Can someone look into something for me.. I don't want to say the players name.. CC, but I believe he is acedemically inelible for the first 9 weeks.. Ouch, he is one hell of a skill player to loose.. If you guys can figure out his name from the initials, would someone let me know if they have heard this..

A good friend of mine is an assistant coach at a high school in Northern Ohio and today is the conclusion of there summer workouts. Today is Fitness Test Day! 18 Gassers will be the fitness test for all players. (Fundraising in conjunction with booster club, if you sell 15 Gold cards you can be exempt from your Fitness Test. Later this evening a rally along with a cookout will celebrate the ending of conditioning and the beginning of pre season!
