From following caglewis' updates, it seems like the Johnnies are throwing the ball all over the place on the Ironton D. It's not looking good right now. Best of luck in the 2nd half Tigers!! It's going to take a major comeback to get back into the lead in this one.

Man, that's too much for any team at this level to overcome.Vodoochild wrote:Patrick lewis out, Stephens out, Webb out, Culbertson out. Your whole starting right side of the line and featured back. Wow! just Wow

i wouldnt say anything about fitness levels. these arent cramps. injuries happen and when players play both ways they will happen with greater frequency.tk421 wrote:why does it seem like Ironton is always struggling with injuries? Do we not have a good fitness level? Why are so many players getting injured? I know we don't field enough people for the team, 39 players isn't enough.

Well, I hope the Tigers win, but they arent in great shape. They have natural talent that you don't need to coach and they have 20 some upperclassmen. You don't even know what I think.

For 3 quarters, the Tigers struggled with 5-5 BC last week. Throw in some injuries and this is no surprise. First 5-6 minutes of the third will tell everyone if Ir can get back in this game. Afterwards, 20+ seniors? are done....wow

Prayers go out to the Ironton qb and his family. The radio said he lost his grandma this morning.

tigercannon71 wrote:14vt, saying your running game is a lot like Wattersons is saying a lot. You might run the same plays, but I doubt you got the players like Watterson had to run your offense. Those guys alnog with Hartleys were probably best backs we saw all year. That #8, I think, was just awesome power runner, could cut, and was fast.
Now what do you think, we still don't have a running game, might not be like watterson but you can't stop us.

Boy, lose a game and that "famous" tigger sportsmanship comes shining thru.
They were going nowhere and most people in the state knew it, except here where they are the SEO bad boys. How does it feel to be mediocre ? Maybe top dogs in minor lerague SEO, but state -wide ? Roll out the basketballs 8)

In his defense, how many of the faithful gave crap to the JM fans about a WEAK schedule. Just saying, how is his over rated statement any different from the BS slung around by the other side. Read the St Clairsville thread......same story.
