Gallia hardly destroyed Athens, they led by 8 with 1:20 to go and kicked a field goal to go up 11. Athens fumbled and Gallia scored again to make the score margin look much greater than the difference was on the field.
Thurgood may beat us and it may be bad but the bottom line is that there are only 8 teams left in D3 and we are one of them! Nobody can take that away from our boys, nobody.

I'M SO HAPPY I DON'T EVEN CARE WHAT PALADIN HAS TO SAY ... LOL
BEST FOOTBALL GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN ... THE LAST DRIVE STARTED WITH BURROW STANDING IN HIS OWN END-ZONE DOWN BY 6 ... THEY DROVE THE LENGTH OF THE FIELD, CONVERTING 3RD AND 4TH DOWN SITUATIONS ... I MEAN, JUST AMAZING ... NOW I KNOW HOW BRONCO FANS FELT ON ELWAY'S DRIVE vs THE BROWNS ... IT WAS JUST A CLUTH PERFORMACE THAT YOU JUST DON'T WITNESS EVERY DAY BY A HIGH SCHOOL TEAM (AND QUARTERBACK)
Congrats to the Bulldogs! The lucky people with Nelsonville TV Cable will be able to watch a group of young refuse to lose. Athens had a great following and they will travel again next week.
I'd like to thank not only our Bulldog fans who travel every week but the many fans from around our area and teams from our schedule that showed up to support our kids tonight! I know our team and staff greatly appreciate the support from outside our normal fan base, I saw people from Trimble, Jackson, Circleville, etc. standing on our side and pulling for our team and I really want to thank you people for the support.
Paladin,
Next weeks match-up means nothing at this moment.
You were on here telling us that Athens had no chance at winning tonight's match-up...you were Wrong!
You say that Athens has played a weak schedule that would prevent them from winning big games down the stretch...you were Wrong Again!
Lastly, you tote that this Athens team is weak and Superiorly Inferior to be playing with any of the 8 teams in their Region...Strike Three, they have KO'd 2 Teams.
This is a Special Athens Team!
They have proved all the critics wrong!
You do not win 9 Games in a row, and then win back to back Play-Off Games with a Weak Team or Weak Schedule....
But those who Bash High School Athletes have a 'Weak Mind' hint hint...Mr. Paladin...
Congratulations Bulldogs! Many said you couldn't win a playoff game and you did. Many more said you couldn't beat a team from outside our area and you did. Many more will say you can't win next week and it doesn't matter, the only people who need to believe in this team is you!
Congrats on your win. I just witnessed the best team that Gallia faced all year hands down. They were too big and fast. To put it in a nutshell they can name their score. No disrespect to other teams but Marshall is on a mission and it will not stop until the final week in my opinion. Good Luck to the Bulldogs.

I promise that TM won't play the frosh, they performed an onside kick in the 2nd Quarter with a 41-0 lead!
I doubt that anyone will underestimate them.
Looking at the score of that Gallia game doesn't bold well, however the dogs proved they can play and it's been a great year no matter the result next week. Congrats.
