It seems simple, but TM has fantastic movement in their double wing and a nice, big and athletic line to open holes. If they get into the open field, it'll likely be a touchdown. Their fourth-string back would be first-team SE District. I do believe Athens will be able to move the ball some and score a few touchdowns.

And don't be surprised to see onside kicks or short pop-up or scrib kicks when they're up by 40-50 points.

Football is a funny game...

The Cincinnati Bengals coming off of 4 straight losses put a beat down on the Defending Champion New York Giants Sunday...
Anything can happen on any given night of Gridiron action...

Without any doubt, Thurgood Marshall will be the Best Team Athens has seen this Season...
Looking at Thurgood Marshall's schedule, I would say Athens will be the Best Team they have seen this Season other than Winton Woods...

Both teams are an Astounishing (11-1) on the Season...

Athens is on an 11-game Winning Streak...
Thurgood Marshall is on an 7-game Winning Streak...

Athens lone loss came in Week I to Division III, Region 12 Qualifying SEOAL Champion Gallia Academy Blue Devils...
Thurgood Marshall's lone loss came in Week V to Division II, Region 8 Qualifying Winton Woods Warriors...

The Common Opponent is Galia Academy...
Athens lost (52-34) in Week I
Thurgood Marshall won (69-9) in Week XII

Thurgood Marshall is the Heavy favorite and that is just fine with Athens...
Shawnee was the favorite last week and Athens found a way to Win their toughess battle this Season...

The Athens fans will pack the Stadium Saturday Night to cheer these young Bulldogs on for one more battle and will be proud of these young men whatever the outcome. These boys have already gone above and beyond what most had expected after last years (10-1) team graduated the core starters on both sides of the ball. It is just awesome to think that the core of this team is the Sophomore Class and makes you think what they may accomplish when they are Seniors...However, this season is not over...

The Bulldogs will travel again on the Road with a Chip on the Shoulder to prove to everyone again that they can play with any team in the State. This truly is one of the Best Athens TEAMS from Top to Bottom including one of the Best Coaching Staff's Athens has every had...

To Coach Adams and his staff, all those long hours in the summer, all those long practices in the Heat, you guys have done and built something Special. We will pack the stadium for you guys...you just prepare those boys again with that "Refuse to Lose" attitude and lets go Shock the State of Ohio!

GO BULLDOGS
TVC OHIO CHAMPIONS
ELITE EIGHT
"JUST WIN BABY!"

Not to be negative but did you not see the whipping the blue devils(Athens only loss) took last night?
And your point is? Week 1 loss to Gallia has crap to do with week 13 athens team. Athens would destroy Gallia if they played today...IMO

GOOD LUCK BULLDOGS..
Are you serious? Good Luck Athens, but please be realistic.

Juggernaut, buzzsaw, unbeatable, unstoppable, odds on favorite, destined for a championship.......all of those were used for the New England Patriots a few years ago also but a 9-7 NY Giants found a way to win the game. Does that mean Athens will win this game? No. Athens may well lose and the final margin may well be great but the point is you don't have to be better than the other team every night, you only have to be better than them on the right night!

From what I understand the starters on the Athens D has changed a bunch since week 2, and yes I would be willing to say Athens would win easy in a rematch.
There Offense has now had 13 weeks to mature and the D since week 2 has improved by leaps and bounds.
All they can do is go out and play. With that "O" anything is possible! TVC is mighty proud of those Dogs!

Honestly, I love the fact that Athens is the only team that has gotten better since Week 1. GA beat you by 18 points at home and gradually got worse?

Anyways, TM is a lot like Ironton under Lutz. Six plays, here it comes — now stop it.

Good luck Bulldogs. Here's hoping you pull off the shocker of the century.

As I said earlier in the year, feel free to win out.

I have to agree with most and this one will get ugly for The Dogs. But you made it this far play hard and hopefully come out injury free. Most teams up North laugh at the "Be a sport" signs becasue they look to take people out of the game. I know a very good friend that played for a power house up north back in the day and they had players which their only job was to take out the opposing kicker or other players. They are not worried about penalties for it. Go Fight Win.

Everyone knows thurgood is big up front and has a small and quick rb. Doubt they will even try to pass since small skill. Hope they over look how good Athens passing game is. But everyone on jjhundle had Shawnee big over Athens. It's week 13. Both offense's can put u down 20 in less than a quarter. Big test for Athens. I'm guess tm by 14but that's what I thought last week

I would think after the last few weeks most people would know to let the kids play this one out. The Dawgs will have a say in how Saturday night turns out.

TM will be a team that nobody in southeast Ohio has ever seen. If Athens goes 3 and out early and often this game will be over by the end of the 1qtr. In order for Athens to win they must keep TM offense off the field. That's a must!!!! Good luck Bulldogs..

Athens ought to do their fans a favor according to some of you and not even show up. You guys are sad, those kids have earned a right to be playing football in week 13, and all some outsiders can do is bad mouth them, instead of at least respect what they have accomplished. Real class by some of you.

Maybe Athens can find a match-up that they can use to their advantage. In football the the better team loses sometimes. Saturday could be one of those times! Keep puting up those crooked numbers Bulldogs and anything can happen!

Good luck bulldogs . I hope you worked on becoming quicker this week . If so you will make it a game if not you will have many points to try to keep up with. you haven't seen anything like this TM team yet and all the heart and desire won't help overcome team speed . Good luck .
