Lincoln
Went to the movies last night and saw Lincoln. I thought it was great. Tastefully done, not over-the-top. It reflects political manuevering involved in setting up the 13th amendmant before the end of the Civil War. Should be must-see viewing by our elected officials today. Audience clapped at the end.

I have never disliked a Daniel Day Lewis movie, and this one continues that streak. It was an amazing movie and must see for anyone interested in that time period.

I hear Lincoln is doing well in the theaters. This is has not always been so, historically.

My wife and I are going to see this tonight. I look forward to seeing this, though I didn't realize it was 2 1/2 hours long.

Great movie , what I understand, but it does go into his views on slavery...........He was all about saving the unoin not getting rid of slavery......Lincoln was quite a paradox........ :12224
