Good win for Mentor , but they may have the best QB in the state. Expected a close game, but not 3 OTs, lol.

Went to the game last week and went to the game this week. I'll give my 2 cents worth here. Mentor's offense is quite the machine, my thoughts are their defense struggles mightely. I know because of their stlye teams are going to get more possessions and likely to score more points and to their credit they did play much better this week than last week on defense, (for the record I think Ed's looked like the superior team compared to Iggy or Mentor but that's why they play the game). Being a public school from my area in Northeast Ohio I hope they can win a title... I just worry about their ability to get enough stops when it counts. Trubisky has to play almost a perfect game weekly for them to continue to move on, he is their team. Love the effort of both teams tonight, I wasn't sure you could best the game of last week and this one was close or better. OHSAA can charge 9 bucks for a ticket all they want if every game was like this one and last weeks! Great win Mentor and keep that offensive motor humming along.

Good God this is the second week in a row for Mentor knocking off a Big dog in Cleveland,first St.Edward now Iggy.in similar fashion,Trubinsky is way underrated IMO

Mentor is playing some great ball. That QB, cant spell his name not going to try, is carrying that team. He's just tough. These past two games have been awesome!!
