Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Standings/Scores
Three really good games tonight. Just like I thought before the season, this is a really good small school basketball league. Any of these 6 can compete and even Frontier is winning a few non-conference games this year. Trail has split with Cambridge who is leading the ECOL, Fort competed with Warren and South, River went to Hiland and gave them a great game, Central plays an exciting brand of ball, Shenandoah is coming together now and our youngsters at Caldwell with no seniors and one junior have proven they can't be taken lightly either. Looking forward to the rest of the season, hopefully all of the teams keep getting better and stay injury free.

That's huge team for the league and don't get cocky you might have to play MC who beat you by 100 in the OVAC. Congrats

Hopefully this game was a sign of things to come for River. Beating undefeated #1 state ranked Magnolia has to be a big confidence booster. Price put the team on his back last night.

I'll be the first to admit, Monroe has surprised me. Didn't really think they would be at the spot where they are now, but like Eastern said, there is still a lot of basketball to be played. That win for River over Magnolia is huge. That's the kind of things I was expecting from River at the beginning of the season. League is still wide open for almost anyone to take.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Standings/Scores
My son came home last night saying that arguably Central's two best players were going to be suspended for the next four games for some sort of violation of school policy. Any of you Monroe fans know if this is the case? If so this could be a knock out punch for their league title chances.
Central is really athletic and strong. They physically wore Caldwell down the other night.

Check previous post...I was told 3 games, but it could be 4....something about a 20% rule. Don't know if it's 20% of remaining games or of the entire season.redskinwitness wrote:My son came home last night saying that arguably Central's two best players were going to be suspended for the next four games for some sort of violation of school policy.
