By the way, were these friends of yours? Why is this any different than any two people who want the benefits of marriage?

Was this the first time two people that loved each other got married there? By the way, are you assuming that all people who marry, love each other? When almost 51% of marriages end in divorce, thats a huge assumption

I now know why I had such a strange feeling from 1985 to 1987 when I went to church there.

I had the same feeling when I was on top of the World Trade Center in February, 2001...

It actually is possible and is reality, which you can not grasp

I can't figure out why two people of the same sex getting married threatens a hetero marriage. Why? Are you insecure in your marriage. If two people commit to each other to bond through all things that come, I'm fine with it.

It goes far beyond "threatening a hetero marriage"...

Mr. Trojan...

1) I don't live in Athens. Or around it.

2) Please don't answer my post with a question!

There was no question in my post.

Do you need to take a class in remedial English?

(I thought that you said you were a cum laude in business in a previous post.)

I am sure that abuck could find one for you.

(BTW...my second sentence is a question to you.)

I am embarrassed for the people who gave you a cum laude in business if you believe "think about it" is a question.

It is a statement for you to think about it.

WOW!

What is the much bigger picture here?

Why is this much more of an issue than one same-sex couple joining in marriage?

Abuck, I believe, is a guru in world history.

Please, do tell us, abuck.

What is the bigger picture related to the history of the world with regards to the rise and fall of civilizations?

Perhaps you'ld rather live in Uganada. By your standards, it will stand forever!

Uganda anti-gay law would put to death any who criticize it
12/2/2012 7:04pm by John Aravosis

You’ve really entered Nazi territory, or Idi Amin territory as the geography may be (this is Uganda, after all), when you’re so paranoid and hateful that you don’t simply attempt to pass a law putting gays to death, but you put to death anyone who criticizes the law putting gays to death.

We’d reported on this legislation before. It’s been around for a number of years, but only recently starting moving ahead in Uganda’s parliament.

To the dismay of gay rights activist worldwide, the mainstream media, including the Associated Press and the BBC, keep falling for the lies of Ugandan officials who tell them the “death for gays” provision has been dropped, only to find out later that it hasn’t. It’s happened at least fifteen times now over the past three years (it’s gone, no it’s not). AP is the latest to fall for this lie, unquestioned.

The provision is very much still in the legislation, and it’s so onerous that it would not only sentence you to death for being gay, it would sentence you to death for publicly disagreeing with the legislation, or the sentence.

You have already indicated that you are a "poor, dumb idiot" and you have proved it by comparing me to a Nazi.

Try having an intelligent conversation for once...or is this too personal of a topic for you?
