Just because the team got pounded doesn't mean that the PG didnt play well. I wouldn't make up how the kid played, broke the pressure consistently.

Piketon beats Westfall 50-46
Unioto beats Southeastern 64-50
Huntington beats PV 66-46
ZT beats Adena 56-34

The radio guys had the Streaks with 20 offensive rebounds and 26% shooting for the game. 1st game jitters.

Roger impressed with how the Mustangs played. Very impressed . Thought WF guards handled Piketon Pressure very well. Survive and advance.

I'm not going to bash a kid on here...but after conferring with a Piketon coach, SE had 20 plus TO's in both games last year and nobody other than Hall broke pressure consistently. I could probably get the DVD's if you want to jog your memory.
But who really cares! I'm sure at the end of the season the coaches will pick the best PG in the League. "The Ball don't Lie" :122245

Back to the game, as I predicted it's going to take this team a few games to catch their rhythm. Some key points to last night's game.
1. They pounded the Offensive Glass vs. a nice size front line of Westfall (20 offensive rebounds)
2. They attacked the basket well, as most of their shots was in the paint.
3. Defense in the first half was very good holding Westfall to 20 points and a bunch of TO's
4. Most of Westfalls points in the 2nd half was from the FT Line. Piketon's defense was the best I've seen in a couple of years, forced 22 TO's.
5. The Streaks shot 26% from the field and took twice as many shots as Westfall, yet they found a way to win.

I'm sure the struggles to score will diminish as I'm told Z. Farmer was under the weather last night, which explains his shots missing short and appeared to be lacking energy.
Let's go get Paint Valley tonight.

The Chef's Streaks will be fine. Ball was just rolling out. It happens. Streaks won and they move on.

Zane Trace vs Unioto is a big rivalry game. Throw out records, expectations, predictions, and etc.

Tough to win on the road in the SVC, especially in a rivalry game. ZT is better than many expected as well. If it wasn't for a furious come back two seasons ago, Unioto would have dropped at least 7 straight at ZT.

ZT's size and outside shooting combination, mixed with very good ballhandling (11 turnovers combined this weekend) will win them a lot of games this year. They seem much more cohesive this year.

He may be the second best pg in league because there Are not many true pg in the league. Brabson light yeArs ahead of Miles but the kid is a soph.
Brabson is a 5th year senior, he got a red shirt in the 8th grade, along with most of the senior athletes at Piketon this years. He's got atleast 3 years on him, of course he is better. He's a man among boys! :aaaaa34
