Bballinfool thinks that spring training wins and losses translate to the season......The Reds could win the series and he would still find a way to blame Dusty for something lolyabbadabbadoo wrote:Reds will be fine. It's freakin' spring training. Meaningless games. A lot of players have said they hate spring training because it puts some of them playing over 180 games in a season.
They made the right move by leaving Chapman at closer. Broxton will be a nice setup man. It will be like the days of the nasty boys.

broxton is not a closer never was a great one, JJ hoover will be the closer if not now in the near future.Orange and Brown wrote:BBallin fool wrote:The lead off man is in place!!! GO REDS!!! Looks good on paper the next question is Chapman ? jmo he will stay in the bullpen.
Chapman will be astarter next season. That is why they resigned Broxton.
Re: Reds 2013

Broxton would have been the closer if Chapman would have worked out in the rotation.

Re: Reds 2013
Ludwick = torn labrum....... Reds will be lucky to have him back around the AS break.
It will be interesting to see what the Reds decide to do here. Expect a roster anouncement in the next few hours..... could be a trade on the horizon.

exactly why you do not sign a 34 yr old player who has never been consistent to a contract more than 1 yr. these old guys are worn out by sept. dusty and his sr citizen brigade get miguel ciaro back whats he 45 or edgar renteria dusty surly thinks he is not too old to convert to of for 3 months

If they are a true championship contender, they have to be deep enough to withstand any one player going down for a while. And it's early in the season; sure don't want this happening in August if there is a silver lining. Ludwig was a pleasant surprise last season. Maybe they'll get Rolen to come out of retirement.
