The teams at Jackson have dominated SE Ohio in Division 3 over the last few years and it looks like there are some good teams there again. That is very true. There is a lot of ball left to play but if I had to rank them right now, I think it would look a little something like this.

1. Ironton...Impressive schedule
2. Oak Hill....Unbeaten, nice win over Webster
3. Valley....Fairly tough schedule, losses to two very good teams, Impressive win at Minford
4. Minford...Good wins over Portsmouth and Notre Dame
5. Chesapeake....Losses against two very good teams
6. Portsmouth....Brutal schedule, ahead of Burg due to head to head
7. Wheelersburg...No real good wins yet, playing everyone tough
8. Coal Grove....Jury is out, not a very good schedule, no real good win to call on
9. West.....Getting better...3 losses by a combined 13 points
10. South Point....Fairly tough schedule, played a few good teams pretty tough
11. Rock Hill.....Going to be tough to get out of the bottom with the teams above them.

Of course this is an ever-changing process, but this is how I see it now. We will know a lot more about this sectional as the SOC teams start to play each other. Could you imagine final matchups of Oak Hill-Burg, Valley-Portsmouth, and Minford-Chesapeake?

You know you can't go against a Jerry Kill coached team with a month to prepare.... He just struggles on a weekly basis!

UCLA-Mizzou game was a treat.... Phil Pressy had 19 dimes and shoulda had 20 but a guy missed a wide open layup. College bball normally wears me out, but that game was a treat.

There should be a super sectional, but what's done is done.

It is crazy to think that at least 4 teams out of Oak Hill, Ironton, Coal Grove, Valley, Minford, Wheelersburg, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth will not be playing at the Convo while at least one of Southeastern, Wellston, Belpre, Meigs, Crooksville, River Valley, or Alexander will be.
