If Strickland was still there running set plays on offense, this would be a much different team. I will still show up and support the team, no fair weather fan here. Just calling a spade a spade. Funny, you have 10 total posts and you have private messages turned off.

Shoe is that you?

No Shoe here. My son plays on this Falcon team and people like you are so negative which is not what these kids need to see or hear. They need support as they give 100% to win! Kids do read what's posted and negativity is like cancer, it spreads...POST SOMETHING NICE ABOUT YOUR TEAM FOR ONCE! The team that you say you "cheer" for.

I have said all positive things about the kids on the team. They have talent everywhere. You need to stop acting like I am criticizing the kids, which I am not. I predicted they would run the table in the SOC II because they are stacked with talent. I think we both agree that the kids have the ability to win any game on their schedule. You apparently agree with the style of basketball they play, I dont. Neither did any of the fans around me at the Valley, ND or SW game.

My comments were never about the kids, so stop acting like it was. My comments were about the style of offense and defense they run. 2 completely different things altogether.

AMEN Falcon Fury!

I know that the boys all read these posts - I hear them talk - so people need to think about what they are going to post before doing so.
All the teams work really hard before and during the season - to only get on Preps and see themselves or their team being bashed by some "has been" or "wanna be".

Try posting somthing positive.
You can post your opinion on the games but why not think of the kids first.
Don't bash the kids and don't bash the coach - that IS their coach! RESPECT should be one of the first things that we, as parents, should teach our kids. So let's practice what we preach!

And regardless what you think of the coach - they put in LONG hours away from their own families with these boys to TRY and make everyone happy.
And I know that Coach Shoe, Copley, Chilli, Shepherd, and Kelley love our boys! Do you think they want lose? They only want what's best for our team so, why don't we try and support them! :aaaaa26

if Strickland was still the coach they would have beat valley and sw by 15 points. sorry if that makes anyone mad but the offensive system this staff has is a joke. as mentioned before, talent is everywhere on minford's team just not being utilized.

i like shoe and i think he can make a good coach. right now it seems like he is just sticking with something that is not working too long. they could beat clay and the other schools taking shots from half court. to beat the better than average teams he needs to utilize the talent he has.

No player on Minford are world beaters. I did like the steal at the end and bucket for McLee. He just wants to get his. Very cocky attitude and I'm not sure why??? Good win for the Jeeps though, you got to give them ALL the credit!
Haters gonna Hate and that's ok. I think Minford expected haters this year. Minford's good, they just need to start meshing. I did love the steal at the end of the game! BTW, it's McBee and he's entitled to his. He's a great player and another reason you're a hater.
Juan - I think you hit the nail on the head with your comment above and it seems by FF's comment about his "entitlement" to scoring that she agrees.

I just rly figured an all star team of Burg/Portsmouth/Eastern kids would do better thats all... but Minford proved me wrong there. Maybe that is the problem? Are any minford kids upset bout sitting the bench over kids they just recently started going to school with? Not always bout horses you have, coach still has to COACH, and I'm afraid Schumacker isn't the guy for the job, Copley is! Just don't get why Copley isn't coach of this team

There are all kinds of reason that players don't play. Like how they perform in practice, dedication, and of course their attitude.
Coaches are around these boys and see and hear alot more then the parents and fans do and just because some excel in one sport doesn't necessarily mean they will in another - so we probably shouldn't second guess the coaches on why some do and don't play - that's why "they" are the coaches and we're not - just saying.

What's that suppose to mean? If you are referring to McBee/Stapleton/Rowe - they are HARDLY EVER on the floor together at the same time. Every school has move ins - look at Burg!
Our boys are close and someone like you trying to stir up crap isn't going to work!

Stop trying to stir up problems! I've seen your posts on Minford threads stirring crap up! Go on to another thread and post.
Hey, you and Juan Moralass would make a good couple!

You have arguably the best and biggest post player in scioto county! Use him myself personally I think he should touch the ball in the post atleast 30 times a game. Regarding the bench players why only go 6 or 7 deep you have wiseman and justice on the bench wasting away? Justice is the second best ball handler on the team why not let him take point sometimes an use mcbee in the 2 slot soo he can get open shots? He is also one of the best defenders and bleeding red shoemaker always sits in the zone in big games I think you run one denfense and run it right like man let your athletes loose it's like holding a race horse in the gates. Shoemaker had this kind of talent at ports Look where it got them.

Sorry Jazzhands - no kid here but I wish I could be! Aww to be young again.....but then you would probably be posting about how I played last night! Anyway, we are here to inspire these kids not tear them down! As for the kids "wasting on the bench" Justice plays fulltime JV and he does a great job and Wiseman made the choice to sit Varsity - he could be playing JV too be chose not to. I do hear these things seeing how I have family playing on the team. Why can't we all just get along and get behind these boys and show them our support! Go Falcons! :122245

You can't win in the soc only going 7 deep you have to use your subs have justice split time on Jv soo he can play at least 2 quarters varsity he's a playmaker he passes and handles the ball greatly what a POINT guard is suppose to do his job Is to get assists and I highly doubt he chose to sit the bench and not play at all I know Kyle and he is way too competitive to do that

its pretty easy to see that you and falcon fury are the same person. grammar is the same, 3 days between the 2 different registration times, both have kids on the team, etc etc etc

we cant get along because you (both of you) rip fans that question not the kids, but the style of play and coaching. big difference, not that you would know any better.

i also agree that there is talent wasting away on the bench. justice will play hard on defense and can handle the ball. both things this team needs.
