Out of curiosity who beat the 8th grade Belpre team?

Portsmouth has one of the best 8th grade teams I have ever seen they honestly could play with a lot of JV squads in southern ohio. There point guard was 6'4 and was dunking ! There going to be fun to watch the next few years .

They do have a 6'3" kid that can dunk, however he is not the point guard..

Great group of kids who are working very hard at getting better..

As far as I know, the only age limit for jr high is that you can not be 15 before August 1st of your 8th grade year and of course the corresponding rule that you can not be 19 before Aug. 1 of your senior year of high school. Obviously, if a 7th grader is already 14, he has been held back at some point for some reason, but is still a couple months away from being too old next year.
