The common opponents is worthless here....and the Jackson/VC score is wrong.

Athens is at home.
Jackson is more battle-tested.

Both teams are very good and two of Jackson's top players are very familiar with Athens top player.

I believe Jackson should win by about a dozen but getting out of there by 1 in 14 overtimes will have the same effect.

IMO Jackson should prevail if they play up close to their potential. I don't think they did against Warren but that was another game. Still will be very competitive.

Opposed to risking injury as they go for a league title ... maybe Athens should just go ahead and forfeit since they have no chance in this game?

:)

Why? Who isn't giving Athens any credit? They are 10 and 1 and handling teams pretty easily. Have they played an opponent as tough as Jackson? I'm not sure the have. But the fact is if they play well at home they certainly have a chance to win.

If you think Athens is going to win just say so...no need to get your feelings hurt.

Just stop. No one thinks you are the weak little underdog....I think what Jackson accomplished at Eastern Meigs has stuck in peoples' heads....but that game doesn't matter either, none of them do. For whatever reason it always gets the TVC vs SEOAL title...do people really care about that? Athens was in the SEOAL for almost a century....it's not like they aren't SEOAL "worthy"....I've mentioned multiple times how good Athens athletics are right now, they'd be competing for SEOAL titles in numerous sports in the SEOAL.

Athens winning would be a slight upset, nothing more, nothing less. The Jackson girls want an outright league title and at least a district championship........losing at Athens wouldn't affect anything and I don't care about seeding if they are playing well.

Best of luck to both teams and may everyone come out healthy for the crunch part of their schedules.

Assuming there is something to get bunched up in the first place. IN the end it would not be a big surprise if Athens wins the game. Just an interesting match up which will benefit both teams later in the season.

Saw on Twitter that Doseck had 10 in the 1stQ. Ironladies need to limit her production in the 2nd half.

Sounds like this might go down to the wire.

These refs aren't calling anything...but consistent. Got a football game to watch.

Dosech keeps firing long 3's and swishes or misses badly...we can't get the bad rebounds and they keep scoring.
