Post by Lightle04 »

How are the teams looking is it a up or down year for the TVC ?

Eastern Pike 14-2
Symmes Valley 9-6
Ironton Saint Joe 4-6
Southern ? 7-7
Waterford ? 4-7
South Gallia ? 5-10
Eastern ? 3-11
Miller ? 5-9
Trimble ? 8-8
Who's haveing good seasons in the TVC ? Anyone thoughts on how the there teams are going to do down the stretch ?? This sectional is down compaired to the D-4 Valley sectional so far this season.

Since there are no D4 teams with a winning record I would say it is a down year for tvc and since there is only one team in this sectional with a winning record I would say it is a down year for this sectional.

Pike has the #1 wrapped up.
SV is prolly 2 right now.
3-7 is a mess.
Southern beat waterford by 30.
Waterford has 1 good win against Belpre and they are down
Trimble is still playing pretty well roght around .500
St. Joe plays no one
Miller has won a couple in a row. As long as they are at home they are better
Eastern Meigs beat southern but never play woth any consistemcy
South Gallia is young but compete.

If I had to take a shot in the dark and its really early bc I think there will be a lot of similiar records by draw.

1. Pike
2. Symmes Valley
3. Trimble
4. Southern
5. Waterford
6. Miller
7. St. Joe
8. Eastern
9. South Gallia

St. Joe plays nobody? Sure, they have a 4-6 record and their four wins are against New Boston, Greenup County, Ky, Rock Hill and Portsmouth Clay, not a killer line-up, but their losses are against 8-1 Portsmouth Notre Dame (Probably #1 in their sectional), 8-1 Coal Grove, 8-2 Eastern Pike (Probably #1 seed in Meigs Sectional), 5-2 Sciotoville East (who just beat South Webster), 5-4 Portsmouth West and 7-8 Raceland. That is a combined 42-18 for the teams that have beaten St. Joe. I'd say they have played a decent schedule. Certainly, not nobody.

my sleeper: MILLER

they have the make-up to maybe win a game or two in the tournament.

On top of the teams St. Joe have already played they still have games against Wellston, Fairview(KY),PND, East and Symmes Valley. Not sure what Big Shooter was thinking but then again I guess he wasn't.

I like Trimble in the tournament. According to league records in the Hocking my draw would be
1.Eastern Pike
2.Trimble
3.Symmes Valley
4.Miller
5.Waterford
6.Southern
7.St.Joe
8.Eastern
9.South Gallia

Lot of games left though. A couple weeks ago South Gallia looked better and Miller was farther down in the league. Just shows how much things can change in a few weeks.

Was not aware of there schedule. Yes its pretty good everyone on there is a tough game but new boston they are BAD but you dont get votes for losing to good teams. You have to win games with that being said I dont think they will. They could end up in that last game if there r tvc schools with similiar records they wil vote together.

Eastern Pike seems to be the only clear cut seed at #1. Trimble held their ground but Southern jumped a head of Miller and Waterford last night. Hard to tell what is going to happen in the tvc between now and the draw.

When you are not aware of something then don't post something stupid. ISJ understands you don't get credit for losing to good teams, all we were doing was pointing out your statement about ISJ not playing anyone was wrong. This could be a very interesting draw with everyone so close.

I think with the strength of there schedual Eastern Pike should have a solid grip on the #1 seed. But there's half a season left so who knows.
