This is how it should be. This would be fair and would make the teams heading to the convo the actuat best teams in the district not a .500 club getting a #3 and beating a 7 win #6 seed and advancing when 2 2 teams like Fairfield and White Oak who are 4-5 seeds at Valley but would be 2-3 at Meigs have to play each other and the looser would be the second best team at Meigs!!!!! The way it is now doesn't allow the best teams to represent southern Ohio.

Western's young kids came to play. Their Sophomores grew up quickly as well.

someone needs to get the se board out of the stone age. just exactly who is on this board that makes these decisions?

Why are you guys stopping with just these to sections. Why not put Africentric in this sectional? By your logic there sectional is harder so it would only be right.

The D4 sectionals IMO aren't that bad. Out of the last 4 years Meigs/Wellston has 2 district champs and Valley sectional has 2 district champs. Now the D3 Jackson sectional has been a different story. Most of the D4 district games were pretty close last year. I don't think we should panic over one down year it will even out.

There isn't any panic....we are just trying to be as fair as possible....D3 sectional assignment are miles from even, but their sectionals aren't as loaded with affiliation of one league like both D4's

The problem I see is the Valley seeding. If they match up Whiteoak vs Green and East vs Fairfield it is pretty fair. I see your point about being loaded with league affiliation because in the Valley Sectional every year they seem to match up some of the best teams at the #4 and #5 . I think this takes away from the #1 seed out of the Meigs bracket. For example IMO I think Eastern Pike has a tougher road than the #2 Symmes Valley. IMO in the Meigs bracket the coaches have been pretty fair even though there are more TVC schools the #1 and #2 seed went to two non TVC schools. I guess no matter how you divide them up there is always going to be someone making deals. The only fair way would be have a person with no affiliation with any team seed them.

How about we have the Meigs bracket coaches seed the Valley sectional and the Valley bracket coaches seed the Meigs bracket. This would eliminate some of the problems.

I've mentioned having other coaches do it.

Yeah Symmes Valley is about 5-6 games behind Symmes Valley....but many believe SV has an easier game in the district semis than Eastern P

Heard SW will play the winner of Manchester and New Boston. Did the jeeps get the 2 seed?
