Eastern should win, always tough to go to Waterford though. Should be much more competitive than the first go around. Eastern just finished a tough 3 game in 3 day stretch, this will be their 4th in 5 days. I'll still take Eastern by 10

I wish Waterford wasn't located clear out in the middle of nowhere ... lol ... would love to see this game.
I figure I'll just sit here in my warm, cozy house and listen to the game via 92.1.

The only thing youse got going fore you is that big dome at OU on the Hocking, and that comes in handy when the clock says......It's basketball thirty

Re: Eastern @ Waterford 1/28
LOL ... I did in fact make the trip to Waterford for the Eastern girls game last year ... took Rt. 550 and went through towns I didn't even know exist ... I'm pretty sure I entered - and exited - the 'Twilight Zone' on more than one occasion ... I always say: "if you have to purchase Dramamine to keep from getting sick on a super curvy road (uh, um Rt. 550) - it probably leads to the middle of nowhere." ...

Impressive!
Congrats!
Not that it matters until at least the regionals....but does Waterford have a good enough record to get the #1

Re: Eastern @ Waterford 1/28
Heard on the WJAW recap that Waterford outrebounded Eastern something like 40-17? That means very few second shots.
Good win heading toward tourney time.
Hard to win in the Cooper annex ( the greenhouse )
Forgot to add, Waterford's nineth grader Dani Drayer led all scorers with 24.

Eastern (15-4)
Waterford (14-4)
Eastern has perhaps played a little tougher schedule though ... and tonight was their 4th game in 5 days ... Belpre on Thursday, two tough games versus Huntington St Joe and Boyd Co. on Friday and Saturday ... and Waterford tonight. Not sure if that would factor in the minds of coaches voting or not.

Eastern still 1... Waterford a close 2... Both with good schedules!!! Eastern has a lot of respect...as does Waterford but TVC teams will remember Waterford running the score up on them in the past!!!
