beginning to think that nobody wants to face Chillicothier, they are getting very warm and with incredible timing. From the looks ogf things from the outside of it all and only from reading this sight and the local rags, Im gthinking Portsmouth has regressed a bit from the early season

The TVC Ohio coaches will never let this happen. Fed Hock plays in the Hocking you seen what happened to Belpre last year when it came to the tournament draw. After Fed just lost to Waterford it will really hurt them in the draw.

Watch out for Lynchburg-Clay. This week they won @ North Adams on Tuesday, @ Fairfield on Friday (up 22-4 to start the game) and beat Ripley (41-11 at the half) last night. They are playing there best ball of the season right now. I don't think that anyone is looking forward to playing them in the tournament.

I went with West for being over 500 and having the SOC vote, plus I'd think that Norm would want to avoid them, thus putting the Trojans against Ironton.

it is what I expected for Portsmouth.

Portsmouth was going to be 8th or 9th and in line to play Ironton all along....second easiest prediction of all the SE tourney brackets

Not according to this post from the Jackson Sectional thread...
CCC wrote:WORD I AM GETTING IS THAT WHEELERSBURG IS THE ONE THAT MESSED UP THE VOTE ON PHS. WHEELERSBURG HAD A CHANCE TO VOTE PHS AT THE 7 AND THEMSELVES AT THE 10 BUT VOTED COAL GROVE THE 7. IF BURG WOULD HAVE VOTED PHS 7 THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN A 10 AND PLAYED OAK HILL TO GET OUT INSTEAD OF IRONTON. BARRICK MUST WANT THE SEASON TO END BECAUSE IF HE WAS GOING TO PLAY PHS ANYWAY WHY NOT TAKE YOUR CHANCE AGAINST OAK HILL INSTEAD OF IRONTON. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THAT COACHES SHOULD PUT THEIR KIDS IN THE BEST POSITION TO WIN AND BARRICK MUST NOT WANT TO DO THAT! CRAZY

Most of the 4-5 seed games in the district are very interesting, with any of the teams capable of a good tourney run, providing they get out of their sectional.

#4 Chesapeake - #5 Minford at the Jackson sectional
#4Whiteoak - #5Leesburg Fairfield at the Valley sectional
#4Logan Elm - #5Sheridan at the Logan sectional
