And in the Match-up of the night Huntington
Looks to stay perfect in league play while Unioto
Needs a win to get back into the league lead.
Will the foul poles be fair or foul in Frenchtown?
In a truly unbelievable event
The foul ball polls in Frenchtown are foul just like in the Township!
For those not in on this unbearable loop.....
Last season out on a road called 772 (Better known as the Appalachian  Autobahn)
Maddy Trainer crushes a shot down the left field line precisely striking the foul poll.
Blue calls it a foul ball.
And tonight at the Unioto Softball Complex the same exact scenario played out only slightly different. Â Maddy crushed another one down the left field line only this time
The ball was about 10 to 15 feet above the foul poll. Blue calls it foul again! Â I will cut tonight's blue some slack, this ball didn't actually hit the poll it went over top of it so some judgment came into play.Â
And he did call a good game behind the plate tonight.
Just what are the odds of this happening two years in row with the same two teams the same batter and pitcher even tonight's field blue was behind the plate last year at the Township when Maddy struck the foul poll.
Great game tonight
Alayna pitched a great game for Huntington, as did Unioto's Freshman Brooke Blevins
