It's all coaching. That Doug Stiverson can't coach his way out of a paper bag!! They have only won 9 sectionals in the last 11 seasons, they should have at least 12 in that time! 3 district titles? Should be 14! Heck, the Braves shouldn't have lost a game the last 5 seasons!

Logan Elm had a 43-year drought between district championships until they won one in 2006. They then won three in five years. Yes, they haven't won one in the last three years, but most schools don't win them ever year. And if you want to bring up the few that have, like Chillicothe until this year, compare the teams.

Let's look at some of the teams LE beat. VC was without Kidd, one of its best players, when LE won that game. ZT caught a break with Peebles getting bounced but its road will soon come to an end against Ironton. And that's D3.

LE beat four teams with a winning record out of the 15 wins. They played in a league that had two teams finish with a winning record but could only muster an 8-6 league mark. LE has been an up-and-down team all season. This isn't as strong of a team as the ones you remember that played for district titles. They had no inside game and struggled at attacking the basket at times. The players and coaches got about what they could out of it, and nearly had a chance to get to a district final despite an awful start against Trace.

LE is consistently one of the better teams in the Southeast District year-after-year under Coach Stiverson. Don't take that for granted. We'll see if LE can take another step forward next year.

Insinuating LE needs a change is comical. How quickly folks forget what is was like before Stiverson took the job. Go ahead and run him out of town. The guy would have a better job in a day.

I'm not talking about Stiverson getting the boot. I'm talking about another coach in his bench that needs to go.

thill2010... Coach Stiverson makes all the final decisions, believe me... Also be thankful for what you got... Last year's D-2 regional teams and the year they were last there...
Waverly (1980) St Clairsville (1982) New Philadelphia (1979) and Chillicothe (2011). Chilli's won five districts in the last seven years now but they are coming back to the pack big time...the point I am making is LE ought to count their blessings, it hasn't been over 30 years for them..Also I bet Stiverson wins a District title before Chill does again... Just a prediction..IMO.
