It's Convo time guys. Time for the cream to rise to the top I hope all the SOC teams win and advance. I know Webster,Notre Dame ,Eastern,and East have all focused on a tourney run this season. Webster plays a murderous schedual for a D-4 school and Easten Pike piled up some tuff teams to prep for a tourney run. Good luck to all the SOC teams !!!

Its funny how just a few short weeks ago we heard so many negatives about the SOC, and their strength. How many teams do we still have in the tourney now? 4 right? Eastern Pike, South Webster, Notre Dame, East........Good job boys, keep up the hard work. Go SOC!!!!

TVC link says Fairfield "shocked" Eastern by beating them.. wrong Nobody i talked to was shocked, SHL is much better league and basketball people know that. Seeding is a joke year in year out, all they look at are (cupcake) wins and nothing else. SE coaches continue to trade favors and support their croonies instead of doing the right thing and rewarding the best teams. I give Ironton credit, they play people. Play someone and earn the seed.

In Tuesday's DIV district semi-finals Fairfield shocked No. 1 seed Eastern Pike by knocking off the Eagles 55-52,

You obviously didn't talk to anyone from Beaver. Just like any team good or bad you should be shocked and disappointed when you lose any game. I think both teams are fairly even as far as talent and ability so I would be "shocked" and upset to have lost being on either side. The SHL better prepares you for the tournament, they have fewer teams than the SOC so the D4 teams play more games against the D3 SHL teams. It's like saying South Webster playing in the SOC 2 helps them prepare for the tourny, well no kidding they play D3 teams every night.
