... I watched the updates as the game was happening - "read" like it was a good one ... the Burdette girl must have had a great game for the Eagles ... ANYTIME SEO gets a team boys or GIRLS to the SHOW it is an awesome accomplishment ... pfloyd sends congratulations to the ladies of Reedsville - Best of luck this week at the state ... they will be playing on Thursday night ??? - during the boys D2 Regional at the Convo??? or will that during the day Thursday afternoon or even morning???

Burdette had 32 points ... the girl is amazing - so fun to watch ... I don't care if your a boys or girls fan - if you like hoops - you would have loved tonights game ... Pick North was 100% full capacity and I'm not sure anyone sat down the entire game ... lol ... extremly intense I must say.

... going to be a GREAT week of Regional Boys hoops AND Girls Final games in C'bus ... SEO "representing" - it doesn't get any better than that ... the Lady Eagles have punched their ticket to the State games ... time to get the boys side to represent as well !!! ...

... going into SE Regional action this week, 7 of the top 16 teams on the Final Edition of the Elite 8 rankings have "survived and advanced" to where the next "W" we put on our handy dandy "bracket sheets" will have a Southern/Southeastern Ohio team playing for a chance to go to the "SHOW" in C'bus ... 5 teams in the Elite 8 are in regional action! - looks like I have no choice but to hang onto that "old Ouija Board" for yet another season of Southern/Southeast Ohio hoops ... not sure I could retire an "old friend" anyway ...

... the committee of one - me - wishes the best to ALL the teams playing for the opportunity to travel up Rte. 33 to the Big City ...

... it's ALL good ... TEAMS at the top the rankings are still playing in the middle of March which is the way it should be in my book - now "my book" may have a lot of pictures with captions BUT in the end it's the cream having risen to the top in both the regular season and the "one and done" season as well that makes the rankings legit ...

I told you Floyd you should have allowed me to pick you up last night on my way to Pickerington North ... All I could think of as I sat on the baseline next to the Channel 4 News camera, inside the sold-out gym filled with insane fans - while the action was fast-and-furious and back-and-forth - was how Pfloyd was probably sitting in the Convo hearing crickets as South Webster blew past Fairfield ... lol ... The atmosphere at Pick North was as intense of game as I have been to all year, fans were on edge with so much on the line - you win and your heading to the 'big dance' at the Jerome Schottenstein Center ... you had the tiny of town of Reedsville, a small public school nestled in the hills of southeastern Ohio versus the power house private school of Newark Catholic ... you had one of the best DIV players in the region scoring 32 points versus the Green Wave, who probably thought no way a girl from the southeast district would burn them so badly ... lol ... I'm tellin you Floyd, you blew it ... the next time I offer to pick you up and take you to a game - you better accept!

I just can't be a fence rider!!! - what I mean is IF I started watching girls basketball (good girls basketball) I would end up keeping napkin stats, if I started keeping napkin stats I would be posting on the girls basketball forum, if I start posting on the girls basketball forum I would feel the need to have an Elite 8 of Southern/Southeastern Ohio for the girls side, if I started a girls Elite 8 ??? - I don't want to start a Girls Elite 8 - "those fans- girls hoops fans are different animals"!!!
