Fairfield Union enters the contest at 22-3 and are two-time defending MSL-Buckeye champions. Beat Miami Trace 46-32 to advance.

Athens won the TVC-Ohio and defeated Jackson 45-44 to punch its ticket to the Sweet 16.

Rumor has it that Zanesville will not clear the gym on Tuesday after the Hartley - West Holmes game and before FU - Athens. How will they get everyone in? It was standing room only on Saturday for the district finals between WH and Maysville. That is just one game. Having fans from 4 schools there at the same time it's going to be crowded. FU and Athens fans better get there early or plan on watching from behind the baskets if you get in? I would by a presale ticket just make sure.

Zanesville was one ticket for all the boys doubleheaders to and it was not a problem. Figure game 1 will be packed and then game 2 a majority will leave.

Hartley won't bring that many and not sure but for some reason Athens doesnt' travel well. You would think they would witht he season they have had but their student section was about two rows at the convo which is unreal. Should be a good one. Good luck to both teams.

Looking forward to a great game. I think its safe to say that the coin flip worked out well for both teams. Should be an interesting game with contrasting styles. Athens is bigger and more physical while Fairfield Union is smaller and quicker. Both teams shoot it pretty well and play good defense.

They've done just that. It's 14-4 Athens. Fu in foul trouble and their only big(who's not big) is on the bench early. Fu turning it over like crazy as well
