Nice win for the Pioneers but that's the last one they get. No way their beating Ironton. Mowery, and Hutton are good players but not in Carter's league. So fast, and smooth. Best player I've seen since Dante Jackson from McClain. He had 31, and I overheard their fans talking about his game being off. Wow!!!

Zane Trace has not won a District title in Boys Basketball since 1970.
I would bet Ironton has won many in the last 43 years.

As much as I would like for ZT to pull this off. I just don't think that they can. I watched all the games and Ironton by far is the best team in this area.(sorry my beloved Redstreaks) I will say that ZT will try and slow it down. I will take Ironton 62-51.

Very impressed with ironton carter is at another level. They are a tested, experienced team. Will be shocked if they aren't in Columbus.

ZT has to junk it up defensively, hit two threes early and hold the ball for 29 minutes. ;)

Guarding the 3 players for Ironton has proved very tricky for our opponents this year. When ya focus on 1 or 2 then someone else will step up and get ya. Seen it happen time and time again. Unless you got someone equal to them you are gonna have to double team these three to shut them down and there ain't enough players on the court. I would never go as far as to say that we are unbeatable, but it's gonna take a lot to do it OR we would have to have a really bad game.

Ironton is a big favorite. Zane Trace is a good team, but Ironton is on another level. Tigers by 21.

We have to come up with a reason to make the trip next week. 8) Obviously, I have serious doubts that this game will be close, but I'm still going to be there and root on my Pioneers.

Jug head -your right u have to be there for your team. ZT deserves to be there. They are just running into a buzz saw. Don't see how they can keep it close. Maybe try to slow it down like Wheelersburg. Notice I said try. Carter is too fast for anyone in this district. On offense, and defense. His closing speed on defense goes unnoticed, or at least not talked about on here.
