Ironton lost to two of the top teams in Florida...Not sure of the names but they were out of Miami.

Ironton's two loses were to defending Florida state champs Hileah Gardens and Coral Gables, Florida.

and those schools were 8A---------the largest division in florida, and not making excuses for the fighting tigers, but they were barely out of the high school football playoffs at this time.

Just watched video of Cincinnati Country Day's game from yesterday. They are the DIII defending champs, and I have to say they look pretty good. Their best player going to UC next year. Should be a great final 2 weeks in the tourney.

Country Days The silver knights are coached by former NBA player Michael Bradley, and the player I was talking about is Senior Kevin Johnson going to UC next year. I would live to see Piketon go to the State Tourney, but I just don't think they can get by Ironton. If they don't I would love to see the matchup between Carter, and Johnson in the Final. Could be a an instant classic. We would find out if Carter could play D1. Play well vs a player like Johnson, and your bound to get some interest.

IRONTON NEEDS TO GET BY MARTIN'S FERRY FIRST, 1 GAME AT A TIME TIGERS STAY FOCUSED.
Re: DIII - REGIONALS - CONVO - (poll)
Ironton got by MF old buddy and is looking forward to cutting down a few oak's now.
Great Win Tigers and impressive gave up a lot of points to one player but that didn't hurt the final score.
Go Ironton continue your march to a tittle.

Obviously Ironton is a huge favorite, but has their ever been a more overlooked team than Oak Hill this season?
They only recieved 2 votes in this and were bashed all year for their state ranking. 22-4 with a legendary coach will give them a shot.

I don't think Ironton will over look Oak Hill that being said I think Ironton is just to talented and deep this year.
Can they be beat yes will they lose this one I don't believe so but that is why they play the game for to see who is better.
Good Luck Ironton bring home that win.

Norm does a great job with not near as much talent as Ironton. That is why his team is where it is right now. BUT it is the end of the road for Oaks, Ironton just too loaded with talent. Ironton by 20.
