Trail is the team nobody is giving credit to QB Morgan Daughtery and WR Tyler Starr.. Anyway why all the hate for this league? 2 teams made the playoffs and considering other schools the same size in the area the league does fine. I mean ask Bridgeport, Rosecrans, Barnesville, Waterford, Belpre , Newcomerstown how they did vs the league?

The downfall to the PVC is the fact that usually you have a few teams that are only good for 1-2 wins a year which doesn't generate any playoff points for the better teams in the league. If you are in the PVC, 7-3 and making the playoffs is out of the picture 90% of the time. It is simply win 8 + games or you are sitting at home come week 11.

Don't sleep on BT. They will win games this year.

It's an average D6 D7 league not alot of small leagues in the area except maybe TVC Hocking. Anyway now that Fort Frye, Monroe and River are in region 21 I think 7 wins put you on playoff bubble. Fort Frye plays a terrible non conf schedule that hurts them Connotton Valley, Belpre, Waterford and a way down Rosecran squad.

I'd have to agree with Eastern on this one. For as small as the league is I think it does just fine. You've always got someone right up there at the top (usually MC), and then they'll have one other, or possibly two other teams battling for a playoff spot. True, some teams have been down quite a bit, but you're always going to have that, it's the nature of high school sports. I expect Monroe and Fort Frye to battle for playoff spots. Who knows, maybe Caldwell can string together some wins and make a run at a playoff spot in D7?

Fort Frye has yet to score a Td this preseason without Lang and 2 yr starter Wittekind. If Lang don't get healthy quick it could a long year. The backup qbs are just not good enough.

I just hope Langs back for our game, I think Jorris will be seasoned by then and show everyone in the league who the real deal is for the next two years.

Jorris puts up 2000 yards 31 Tds and a playoff berth ill give it up to him. Fort Frye beat Federal Hocking 14-12 without Lang tonight.

I think it is Monroe central's league to lose. Fort frye will end up being decent if lang stays healthy, but that could be a big if and it helps that they play absolutely no one outside of the pvc. I really haven't heard much about frontier or river anybody know what they got this year?

He won't have too. It is called having weapons around weapons. That's why Monroe has always consistently put out winning product year after year. They have almost always had a second, third and forth option. That's why when you compare programs you can see the ones who consistently win football games, have winning seasons, etc. and then you have the ones who go .500 and below, have a winning season once every 5 years, etc. One athlete isn't going to do much good and if that one athlete can win you some ball games I guarantee you that when the playoffs role around you'll be sitting at home after the first week is over with.

Eastern - I bet FF fans shake their heads knowing you post some of the stupid stuff you do. Just an FYI, season starts in less than a week. You may want to go get some air in your tank so you can keep tooting that horn of yours!

All Jorris has to do is manage the game. The yards will come Spy, He's an all-around athlete.

Wow CN2 I wasn't saying much except those were Chandlers stats from a yr ago.. I never said Fort Frye was better then Monroe once so stop putting words in my mouth.. The young kid (PVC Man) has did nothing but try to put Fort Frye down and talk up Jorris. If you have a problem with me feel free to come up and say something to me at the game don't come here and try to attack my character.

Trail will be above average. I don't see them competing for the PVC though.

08/31 (A) Ridgewood L
09/06 (H) Caldwell
09/13 (H) Frontier
09/20 (H) Barnesville
09/27 (A) Meadowbrook L
10/04 (A) Shenandoah
10/11 (A) Fort Frye L
10/18 (H) West Muskingum
10/25 (A) River Local
11/01 (H) Monroe Central L
I don't see how they will be more than average. they have four guaranteed losses and they will probably lose to at least 2 if not 3 of the rest of the games. at best they are 5 win team and probably wont get that many.
