I believe that Monroe could sneak up on teams. Many athletes but won't be as much run and gun as last year due to the loss of Jorris and Laffere. Watch for Nixon as a player of the year candidate.

I think Monroe will be solid but to say they will be really good seems like a stretch. What we know is they lost better than 40 points and 20 rebounds per game between three seniors who graduated. Not to mention they were the best athlete, shooter, and big man on the team. The fourth senior was a good role player for them. Brown is a really good defender but isn't a scorer. He is like 5'3. The younger Jorris is a nice set shooter but he isn't getting his own shot. Duffy is a decent player but doesn't scare anyone. The one player who could be the big offensive threat is Nixon, he is a terrific athlete but is coming back from a full season off from a severe knee injury. I think he will determine just how good they can be. They will play fast and force turnovers but if Nixon isn't scoring they will struggle on the offensive end. That said, kids get better in the off-season and they could be better offensively than I think they will be.

They also have the real good shooter off JV # 10. They will be like 12-10.

Zeps will be the leagues worst team along with River.

I agree. Being a Caldwell fan I just breaks my heart to know how terrible the Zeps will be. Haha. I do feel bad for River, they have a good coach but they just don't have much back. Frontier has a couple players who have some skills but they will really miss Jefferson. Roger is a good guy but I really doubt they win very many ball games. I see this as a four team race, all four capable of beating each other.

12-10? Are you not the same one who predicted them to go 0-12 in the PVC this past year?

In fact Monroe did not beat Fort Frye in any sport at the boys varsity level. You haven't beat Fort Frye in basketball since the tourney game in 2011. You haven't beat them in JV in the same span. Sorry if I'm not buying the nole love.

Sure didn't whip up on them in Football 27-0 FF. Max Alsbach 235 yards and 3 Tds. Chandler Lang 19 tackles. Sure didn't beat them in bball 74-54 and snapped they're big bad undefeated streak at home by 9 (Chan Lang21 points ). I'm just saying all you Noles fans jumped me for being a homer maybe you should check yourself at the door. You guys bank on good Jr high classes we FF has good classes to they just don't play in Jr high basketball.Fort Frye returns 2 of the better scorers in the league Seth Legrean (14.9) and Chandler Lang (10.3) to go along with an 19-2 Jv squad Botha
Losses to 21-0 Warren. Fort Frye is not going anywhere folks.

We are tired of hearing how great FF is and how good Caldwell is going to be,as long as we kick there ----- it will be a GREAT year.
