Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
Haven't heard anything about Trail. Sounds like Fort is having a good summer. Does anyone but Fort, Central and Caldwell even do anything during the summer months?
Caldwell scrimmaged Sheridan and Licking Heights. Sheridan was missing players from what I was told but they still had a few nice ones there and we more than held our own according to my son. He said Licking Heights was really good and had a really good tall guard and that we played really well against them too. Sounds like it was a good scrimmage for our boys.

Fort Frye 46 Waterford 28. Waterford actually cut it to 10 twice. Seth Legrean lead all scorers with 18. Waterford becomes 1st team to keep it within 20. Fort plays St Marys Tuesday.

Monroe hasn't even had their whole group together, they are getting good experience for their bench players, should be good when they get Brown, Duffy, Nixon, Jorris, and Kuhn together.buckfarnesville14 wrote:Monroe Central is 8-0 in St Clairsville summer league.

The boys are going to be wreck this year in the PVC, if they play anywhere to were they are playing now they will be hard to beat.Yes spy even your mighty cadets. Get used to having Jorris drain threes in Langs face.

Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
Are you the father of the great Lebron Jorris? His brother who was a sr and much better then him could not even score on Lang. I guess you guys are forgetting who snapped the Noles home win streak. FF dominated MC in 2012-13 going 5-1 at the varsity level and even worse if we throw in JV.
Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
No I'm not his father, but I do know the boy has one of the best shots I've ever saw. Are you Langs dad?

Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
I have to agree with EasternDSpy here ...
The older Jorris was a more well rounded player. The younger Jorris is a quality player, but has a ways to go to get to where his brother was. I will also agree that this barrage of threes he is going to hit over Chandler Lang is extremely far fetched. He has a nice shot, but as I have witnessed on several occasions, he struggles with accuracy when well defended. In my opinion, Lang is one of the top defenders (probably the best) in the PVC, so I doubt that he will have trouble with forcing Jorris into tougher shots than he is otherwise accustomed to taking/making. In my eyes, Fort Frye looks like they would have to be the front runner for 2013-14. I'd say jockeying will take place with MC, BT, and Caldwell for the other few top spots, but the Cadets have looked tough on both ends of the floor this summer.

Just think Lang is the best overall player he could have some triple doubles this yr. Then I think Seth Legrean will lead the league in scoring.
Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
Thanks for the laugh spy. No way Legrean will lead the league in scoring.FYI I still think Brown is the best defender and Jorris is the best shooter by far in the league.

Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
You are only person that thinks Brown is better defender then Lang. Lang has shut down players like Mark Winters. While Brown gets torched by Weichman. You can say what you want about me making you laugh but atleast my players have done something on the court. Your boy could not even get on the floor.
