I was wondering if Shenandoah would win a game and they are now 2-0 with 64-35 win over Beallsville.

Caldwell is not nearly as good as they think they are. They live and die by Weichman. I thought clark and some other players would give him some help this year but so far they have not stepped up like they will need to. Fort Frye will probably be the best team in the league again with Mc Not to far behind. Buckeye trail is struggling to put it mildy but will get better as the year goes on. Shenandoah, River will be at the bottom with Frontier above them. My Ranking are
1. Fort Frye
2. MC
3. BT
4. Caldwell
5. Frontier
6. Shenandoah
7. River
And the 3 and 4 could change depending on which teams gets the most help for their star players. No pun intended. Also I could still see Shenandoah in the cellar as well but gave them a little credit since they won their first two games.

Ya and Frontier was an open shot away from beating Caldwell. Frontier will get stronger as the year goes on and they have a lot of talent, I just don't see the talent at River or Shenandoah but you never know. We will see.

The starting 5 of Lang, Anderson, Anderson, Legraen , and Kiefer is the most talented but can they deal with a team that has bigs and tries to slow it down on them? I think Monroe likes to get out an run and I think that will play into Cadets hands.

I would agree that Frontier has more natural talent than River or Shenandoah, that doesn't always mean they will play hard, play smart, or be coached in a way that maximizes that talent.

Good for Shenandoah for getting a couple wins early but CV is bad, as is Beallsville. Those teams are much worse than anyone in the PVC. My updated "ranking" with not taking current standings into play would be

FF
MC
Caldwell
BT
River
Frontier
Shenandoah

Trail falls and my preseason prediction stays the same otherwise.

I went and watched Shenandoah play bealsville and yes bealsville was bad but the zeps play well together. the starting lineup did very well and I'm impressed with forward Merritt Flood. also watch out for Cline off the bench who I've heard and seen can score. zeps guard play lacks but pretty good post game

Seen Caldwell play vs frontier and I don't believe they are even a contender in the pvc . looks like same team from last year.

I think the quicker PVC teams will run Shenandoah off the floor.

Lol....they had 3 practices with everyone because of football playoff and injuries before they played last week. I think maybe we should wait for more than two games to judge our teams. Guessing most of you never even played the sport.

Yes that's very true. for the zeps to have a chance they must control tempo. very little athletisism aside from 2 or 3 players

In all honesty this is fort Frye's league to lose. MC has the best shot at knocking them off but I don't see Caldwell or trail getting it done. And playing TRail tonight and
Mc the 6th game of the season really helps fort frye. FF will be ready and are always well coached while these teams are struggling to play together should be a pretty easy win for Fort tonight. But by the end of the year when they play for the 2nd time it will be a lot closer.

Don't make excuses man. Does Caldwell have talent? Yes. Do they have one of the worst coaches in the Pvc? Yes. You cant let one kid shoot the ball 30 times a game and expect to win especially when they have talent around them that needed to take some more shots and get hot. They made no defensive adjustments againt MC and was dominated all night and nearly blew a huge 4th qt lead against frontier. Weichman can't do everything and if they play this way all year they will be lucky to win 10-12 games and they will be back to their typical Caldwell basketball.
