Prayers for the family of Don Sanford

I have seen him at several games, spoke to him about what else, the kids of the Minford area. I was starting my varsity career in baseball on an emotional high, until now. People like Don are getting fewer and farther between. Too many want to know what's in it for them, not what they can do for you. He was a standard of a class act that we all need to attempt to be, rough and tough, but humble and caring. I am sure the angels in heaven have a roster spot for Don, their team got a whole lot stronger. Take time to appreciate those who volunteer their time to help your kids, not by a pat on the back, (he wouldn't like that either) but by helping when YOU can to make this a better place for the kids of our area.

Did'nt know him personally, but have always heard good things.....One thing I do know is his son is a class act. Apple doesnt fall far.
