Re: Is this shot good?
Seen a picture with the clock and the ball was still in his hands with 0.1 seconds left. Couldn't find one with the clock at zero however.

Post these would love to see them because Fort Frye has a video where the buzzer was def going off after he shot it. It got sent to OHSAA and ESPN.

Re: Is this shot good?
Not sure any North Adams fans on this board regularly (the bull)....anyone have video of the undefeated 25-0 North Adams getting hosed by The officials vs Miami East in the state semis? NA was up but Miami East with 3.3 seconds left and they hit a long 3 about 1/3-1/2 second after the buzzer and official later admitted he was watching to see if the shot was going in instead of whether or not it beat the clock. Miami East went on to win the state championship the next game by double digits.
Maybe some of the Peebles posters have access to the video. TribeManiac?

This shot would have been argued either way it was called.
Congrats to FF on another outstanding season..no doubt a tough way to end it.
Good Luck next week Noles

You can't tell where the ball is from that pic. If the ref throws his hands up at the buzzer I have pic that shows the shot was out of his hands before refs hands were close to being up.

You can't trust that a ref is going to throw his hands up EXACTLY when the buzzer goes off. There's going to be a little bit of a delay, the refs are human.

Re: Is this shot good?
All these pics do is just prove how close it really was.
1st pic looks to me like feet still on the ground and arms not yet fully extended, and only 0.1 on clock.
Like I said, call would be argued either way.

That freezeframe actually makes me feel better about the ref in this situation, because he's actually looking at the action. I may have changed my mind off of that.PvcBball wrote:You can't trust that a ref is going to throw his hands up EXACTLY when the buzzer goes off. But, none of this matters, once the refs go off the floor, that's all folks (I've been apart of a team clearly getting jobbed as well, nothing they will do)

Re: Is this shot good?
If Fort Frye makes one of the 6 missed wide open layups this don't matter

Re: Is this shot good?
I kept replaying when the kid shot its pretty obvious the bal had already left his hands before the ref even motioned no shot . its possible the refs just assumed there was not enough time to get a shot off and was caught off guard.
