Maybe in the future Logan, Ironton Jackson and Athens can get together in Jackson for a week 1 or 2 double header. would be a well attend event and may a good fund raiser for special need children!

it's going to be even harder scheduling out of conference with ironton leagued up now.and these schools are now vastly bigger than ironton in attendance. but they always were.that would be an awesome idea though.

WOW, I just read where Irontons SO Tyler Webb 6'5 275 lb Lineman had a Long Jump of 19'3" at the South Point Track Invitational. He finished in 2nd place, not bad for a BIG young man.

Capital could move some games around to make that date open.

I'm seeing a good attitude with the kids. I believe there is nobody who believes they own a position right now. There are new faces on the team and some of the younger kids have really been working hard. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a couple new faces starting this year that most people haven't seen yet. This years team is going to be at least two teams deep with good athletes. That is something I haven seen in a while. It will all come down to who wants it the most from now until the middle of August. There's a lot of talented kids in the school. Should be a special year for these tigers if they all want it bad enough.

You might be thinking about the year that Ironton played DuPont, WV which had Randy Moss on the team.

St. clairsville is way to far to travel. No matter who would've be coaching I doubt either team would want to play each other just because of travel distance.

Whoever Ironton gets for week three would have to be a one year deal. You have Gallia Academy coming into the conference in 2016.
