Fred won it in 2000.

My cousin pretty Ricky, told me he went to the Minford Jr. High game last night. Boy was he disappointed, another Minford football loss to Rock Hill. With the Jr. High running the same thing as the high school, he said to expect the same outcome. I disagree with him, and think it has no bearing on the game tonight. He said some RH fans told him that the Jr. High does the same summer workouts as the high school. If so, we are in trouble, just like last year. I still say Go Falcons

Credit to Rock Hill.....they are much better than I expected after losing so much from last year. They have really good size, speed and play veey hard. 3 RBs that are put together, fast and run hard.

Good game to start the season. Good win for the Falcons on the road and good luck to Rock Hill. You guys have a team that can definitely win some games this year.

Went to this game...passing needs to improve for both teams. RH's way smaller line gave fits to the Falcons with 2 guys well over 100 yards (knowing they were going to run with freshman QB)...but giving it to Minford with just enough to get by...Gaines played an excellent game. Good job SOC!

these teams didn't show me a whole lot, both lack that explosive element, Rockhill has a good team maybe a year away, Mark will bring them back but it might take a year. that's the jest I got from watching them play, rock hill was stopped on the 1 yrd for a score, and fumbled away another score.

Minford needs to step it up before the Oak Hill game or it'll be a long ride back down 139.

RH lost a RB for 4-6 weeks last night. HUGE LOSS for the Redmen since he played both ways.

Tough loss for sure. He seemed like a good player. Hopefully he can get healed up and get back at it.

I hate it when any kid gets hurt they put so much effort in to play the game.

Yep it is bad when kids get hurt on any team. But only results count. It is a part of the game
