Frontier @Waterford 2/27

Post by Billybob55 »

Waterfords senior night is this Friday. This is a winnable game for the Cats if the coaching does away with the 5 in 5 out strategy. I've seen them up double digits then the next 5 come in and the gap closes to less than 5. I hope for the seniors sake that they can win this game. Waterford 54 frontier 51 (without the 5 in 5 out strategy). Who's everyone got?

I agree the 5 in 5 out hasn't always worked. But I will say I have been to a few games as well where I did not think seniors played well and younger kids played better. Think it is a matter of playing who is playing well that night regardless of what class they are in. Should be a good game though frontier and Waterford games are always good games.

It seems as though Kirkpatrick always wins this coaching battle. Maybe it is just a handful of games that stand out, but I remember some pretty bad Frontier teams beating Waterford in the last ten years or so. If nothing else, the last three seasons (including this one), Waterford should have been able to handle Frontier but hasn't one time (if I recall correctly).

That's exactly what I mean, instead of switching in 5 people every 4 minutes replace the players who aren't performing and keep the players who are playing well in the game.

So...Warren v. Waterford is the JV game prior to the Frontier v. Waterford varsity matchup. What happened to Frontier's JV team?

I was told Frontier had to have jv players dress up and did not have enough players for a jv game
