You never count out Norm, but Ironton is a scary opponent for anybody. If they can get past OH, they can cause problems for Valley. Don't think they will beat Valley, but they are capable. As is Oak Hill

This is a very intriguing game, however I feel, JMO, that Ironton is more athletic and should win. However, I know how teams play Oak Hill. They play Oak Hill by falling victim to the pace that Norm wants it to be. I just hope the refs are "fair" and we don't have to hear people griping about how they cheated the other team. But I do believe this could be a dandy!!

My prediction: If Ironton sets the pace: Ironton 60 Oak Hill 50
If Oak Hill sets the pace: Oak Hill 45 Ironton 40

Oak Hill can be beat.......they are a few years from being very good.....

This game i think will come down to how well the three freshmen play.The two senior gaurds will draw a lot of attention on defense.One of them always draws the other teams best defender. This game could go either way.Ironton has the size and are pretty quick to the basket. I believe oaks have the better shooters fron outside.Tempo of the game will determine the winner.

Predict Slow Down Pace

This is a hard game to predict as far as how the tempo will go.......I have seen Ironton with and without Dylan Malone, and he has made a big difference in the Fighting Tigers season. IHS was probably headed for a sub .500 season without him, but with him the Tigers have an impact player at both ends of the floor. I wouldn't underestimate Ironton's outside shooting........Phillip Kratzenburg and Tristan Cox are very capable of making enough 3's to make teams adjust.

Haven't seen the Oaks this year, but it doesn't surprise me that Coach Persin has another very competitive team, even with freshmen playing key roles.

Which coach will show more intensity?........That just might be a tie!
