Another great season, pfloyd! I hope my Shermans can prove you right. They will definitely have to earn it to even get a sectional title, let alone their 1st district title since 1991 (Coach Combs and current U girls coach, Coach Miller's trip to the State Finals)

With Chillicothe down 2 starters, including one of the top players in the SE. With Bolte in the lineup, Chillicothe was able to push Wilmington in their last game. With Bolte, CHS went 10-4 with losses to Wilmington (#4 in D1) twice, Upper Arlington (lost in OT in D1 Championship Game last year), and Groveport Madison, who is an above .500 D1 team.

Still a good W for Minford, but Chillicothe is completely different with their stud than without him.

Agreed. Bolte is incredible, but has really flown under the radar the past two years. One could make the argument that he is the top player in Ross County, and easily make the case that he is the most underrated player in the SE District.

Regardless, I like PFloyd's rankings every year and now its tournament time so everyone has something more to prove.

Mr. Floyd's rankings have always been fluid and it seems he takes into account how well teams are playing at a present time. Valley and Minford had identical records, split the season series, and Valley was playing better towards the end of season. Two very good teams, but Valley has been consistently improving since they got the football out of their system.
