The loss to Warren on the road albeit only 60-63 AND the loss to Logan last week at home after leading by 18 combined with Logan's big win over MSL leading Teays Valley DID hurt the Trojans this week biggdowgg … Valley beat a red-hot Piketon team this week as well … Chillicothe took 19-1 Wilmington to the wire this week … even had a 1 point lead late in that one … Wilmington has been winning by outrageous numbers 35-40 point spreads vs EVERYONE they have played other than Covington Catholic KY who beat the Hurricanes by I believe 2 or 3 points … the last score I saw for Wilmington was a 118-51 or 52 win … 100-31 after 3 quarters … Chillicothe wasn't going to drop with their 4 point loss to Wilmington this past week …

Is Wilmington D 1 ? Just curious . you know I love to read your stuff and you do an awesome job I usually don't comment a lot because I don't have all the facts like you take so much time to gather. Also I was surprised to see Peake stay at 7 after losing to coal grove. Like I said you do a great job and I don't get to involved other then ready ,but I'm bored LoL .

A red hot Piketon team? You have Piketon behind PV by 12 spots, Vinton by 5 spots, eastern Pike by 3 spots, and West Union by 1 spot all of whom Piketon has beaten? Piketon has lost to Circleville, Unioto x2, , Zane Trace x2, Southeastern (who they beat second time and Valley! No bad losses for the Streaks!

It's been awhile since the D2 district tournament has been the 'headliner' at the Convo ... that is usually reserved for the loaded D3 bracket.

If everything stays 'chalk' for the first few weeks of the tourney, you could see FOUR of pfloyds top 8 in the final four of the D2 district tournament.

Pfloyd I understand. The double cross we lost to Logan then beat Peake. Letsgopsu I know what you mean ,but I can tell you our last few games have showed that the Trojans are playing their best ball right now with Ethan leanord moving into the starting role this kid has really stepped up his game hitting at least three 3 point shots in about every start FIVE of them in his last start,we had a couple bad losses the biggest was 2 games with Logan and warren in which we totally dominated only to blow huge lead. Quality win is handing Peake their first loss and we beat Logan at Logan that's always a tough game. Anyway I'm very exited about the post season. Hope we advance far enough for you to make it home for a game,,,dickersons back door look dunk is worth the admission :-)

I think even valley fans would be embarrassed to call piketon a quality win .

eagles73 and baitbuster … I can agree to disagree on the rankings … no problem on this end … the committee of one - me - does the best fair & balanced job on the rankings as possible … 72 teams … a couple of complaints … good discussion … I only saw Piketon early in the season during their 4 game losing streak … I can't see as many teams as I can multiple times especially in that neck of the woods when the pfloyd hideaway is in the Hocking Hills area … one week left in the regular season for the majority of teams Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line … the final rankings will come out Sunday night … the Road to the 3 Weeks of the Convo begins - my favorite time of year for sure … looking forward to meeting up with so many of the SEOPs Cheap Seat folks during the "one & done" season …

Thanks guys for the game results from last night - greatly appreciated … as the Unioto Shermans get one step closer to that perfect regular season with only Huntington standing in the way of 22 W's and 0 -L's on our handy-dandy pocket schedules … Fairfield Union at 9-12 - better than I thought going into this season … the Roundtown boyz in the Northwest Territories continue to get it done beating a very good Teays Valley squad - forcing Teays and Bloom Carroll into a tie for the MSL … Circleville proving they DO belong in the Elite 8 … finally Logan Elm although losing to BC by 7 … 52-59 … is still my pick to be a sleeper in the Logan Sectional as they will be the favorite vs Vinton County in the opening round … Coach Stiverson's Braves have the added history of having not lost to a Coach Maddox team … this matchup could happen in a sectional final at Logan to see which team gets one of the two invites to the 3 Weeks of the Convo … getting more and more fun just thinking about it all …
