We couldn't get past Athens, I will just say Attitudes of a few players and questionable coaching decision made towards those 2 boys cost us that game.

I'd say Waterford will win, Athens really isn't that good.

Waterford beat Athens 56-41 for the championship. Waterford has won it back to back years. Could be a bright future for the wildcats.

I would have no idea what happened. My understanding is it is open to all TVC teams. I remember many many years ago when my son played that there were 12+ teams in this. I really do not know who/how this is put together.

Guessing that RV is new to the TVC and did not know exactly how it worked, but that is a total guess.

Maybe Coach_K would have more information. He/She posted the bracket, so they may have better information than I do. Sorry.

From my understanding during the regular season schedule Meigs and River Valley were gonna be playing on Saturday Feb. 14th...In which was when this tournament was scheduled for...Meigs had the regular season game changed to the 21st so they could be in the Freshmen tournament. I am not sure if RV's Athletic Director just didn't know about the tourney or what?

Not all TVC hocking teams have enough players for a freshman team.
