I heard yesterday that they fired the whole coaching staff, and also heard that rock hill gave their coach a two year contract, man what a bummer. that should just about finish the hill for football.

Two of the coaches (Rick Barrett and Shawn Doyle) are now coaching the Jr. High. Everyone else was "non-renewed" as coaches. I'm just wondering when they will name a new HS coach at The Grove. Season is creeping on us fast

I don't understand why schools wait so long to make coaching changes. The kids are almost out of school and several 7 on 7 camps will start soon. I hope the Grove takes a long look finding a new head coach.

Unioto hired Jeff Metzler to replace Jerry Hudnell, who moved to Florida and picked up a coaching job (Lake Placid HS) right quick.

Did not even consider it. The three who voted no want Kidd, but under Union laws, they must repost it. Should be interesting who all applies.

I think Coach Kidd will provide the most continuity for the program, which is paramount this late in the (off)-season. I did hear through the grapevine that a storied coach from Scioto County (retired) was around asking questions about the position before it was opened up. Anyone else know of any other outside interest???

The deadline for application is May 29th, per the schools website. Chances are, there will be no coach hired till the first of June. Both Kidd and Lucas have reapplied.

Can someone confirm or not I heard Rock Hill hired Mark Lutz for middle school football coach and as an assistant to the high school

indeed they have hired him, as a head football coach in junior high. and a probable varsity helper.

as far as the hornet's coach . I'm hearing a likely hire Tuesday night.june 2nd.
