i think there is one key ingredient to this years team as compared to any other burg team in resent years and also any SOC team is their Depth in a lot of positions. Valley probably has 3 of the top 7 or 8 athletic players in the area( best throwing QB, fastest TE/WR, and a good RB/WR). Minford has one the best Dlineman in Madden. but the burg has a lot of really good, quick, hard nosed athletes a multiple positions. But their depth is the key. I think I have counted 20 different players on defense from the ironton to the Jackson game. rotating multiple players in 1st, 2nd, quarters more so on Defense than Offense. then when the game is out of reach for the opponent a whole new crew of JV players come in. last thing that sets them apart is the special teams--kickoff and punt are night mares for other teams to prepare for. you are guessing on every punt and kickoff of what they are going to do.
