… this one should be a dandy or at least a "barn burner" on the river … Best of luck to both of these fine OVC teams …

I have to confess, I have never been to a game at Chesapeake. Do they have a big gymnasium? I can't get there really early.

My guess is that it will be PACKED for this one … it is not a huge gym BUT has good seating on both sides of the floor …

Get there early, the Peake fans sit on half of the visitors side to because they always have a good size student section on their home side

It should be a packed house. The Dragons are young, but talented. The Panthers are not flashy, but they play hard and make fewer mistakes than their opponents.

If Fairland gets hot from 3 point range, and Chesapeake has a an off shooting night, then this could spell trouble for Chesapeake. However, this game will be played on Persin court where the Peake is very tough.

The Panthers can get hot, and go on crazy runs, like the ones they put on Portsmouth, Rock Hill, and South Point. Fairland has to limit their mistakes, and Chesapeake has to win on the boards.

Ultimately, I look for turnovers to be the key stat in this great rivalry game...the team who has the least turnovers will win.

Could be one of those games with the winner having the final shot.

Anyone down that way know the final Rock Hill-South Point score. Heard Rock Hill won. Thanks.

A boys gmae I saw earlier in the year there was actually 1/4 of the home side empty except for some scouts from other schools. I think fans should sit on their own side. Peake being a basketball school probably has the smallest gym of the entire OVC. I always wondered why they didnt build it bigger. In recent years though I have not seen it packed very often.
