… big game, the Shermans with the bulls eye on their backs … the Panthers slipping by Zane Trace on Saturday … lots of rave reviews by the Minford fans Friday night in talking about UHS whom Minford played in a scrimmage prior to the season starting … the Falcon faithful were impressed with the whole package UHS puts on the floor and the depth Coach Hoops has on his team as well … looking forward to seeing UHS again , as I will have seen Athens (my #2) Tuesday vs River Valley and then again on Thursday at Logan Elm … I love it when I KNOW I'm going to see good TEAMS , under the direction of good Coaches, meeting on the hardwood - I smile the whole game! - the defense, the adjustments made by the coaches to counteract what the other team is doing … then there's the kids !!! the athletes on the floor - nothing better … pfloyd WILL BE in the Cheap Seats starring down that tank across the floor Friday night LOL …

6-out-of-8 are DII teams ... Looks like its gonna be a pretty fun district tournament this year for the D2 teams ... Too bad we only get 1 champion ... grrrrrrr.

Yes, that will be a real barometer, tomorrow.

Also keep in mind that the three Pfloyd top-rated teams in the OVC (3-Portsmouth, 10-Chesapeake, and 15-Fairland) all play one another in the next couple of weeks.

I have a feeling that the Dragons and the Panthers will give the Trojans a warm welcome to Eastern Lawrence County, and who knows what will happen when Chesapeake and Fairland play each other. That is always a barn burner.

If one of these three teams can come out of this stretch 2-0, then they are well on their way to an OVC Conference Championship, but even more importantly, they will be sitting pretty in the Pfloyd Elite 8 come week #6.
